Quorum has been appointed by Statoil to provide software to enable the Dudgeon and Hywind Scotland offshore wind farms to interface with National Grid and participate in the GB energy market.
Quorum is actively engaged in the discussions surrounding BSC modification P329 as part of the Elexon Workgroup. At the Workgroup meeting on 18th January, Quorum’s Senior Business Analyst reviewed the finding of the consultation process on the modification, working with other members of the group to agree revisions to the documents governing inside information reporting.
The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) is exploring proposals for harmonisation of the Imbalance Settlement Period (ISP) across Europe. The timescale of the proposed change is for a decision to be made by the end of 2016 with implementation by the end of 2019.
